Daughter’s Soft Serve

About

Daughter’s Soft Serve is a family-owned, chef-driven soft-serve shop on North Main Street in downtown Wendell. Chris and Lauren Gass, who also own Bellow Butcher Co. next door, named it for their two daughters. The shop took over the space that once held the Creative Cone ice cream shop.

The menu has classic vanilla, chocolate and dairy-free vanilla, plus a seasonal flavor. Each cone can get a core, a filling placed down the center of the swirl, and a dip, a hard shell that sets around the soft serve. Toppings run from sprinkles to Biscoff and eclair crumble.

What to know

  • Core fillings include brownie batter, marshmallow fluff, dulce de leche and Bing cherry.
  • Dip flavors include chocolate, blueberry, peanut butter, birthday cake and butterscotch.
  • Other toppings include Nerds, gummy bears, fruity flakes and maple flakes.
  • One topping on the menu is called Daughters Sprinkles.
  • Raleigh Magazine reported the shop was serving by June 30, 2026.
